What drives Windsor prices
Windsor sits at the western terminus of Highway 401 and holds the Ambassador Bridge, the busiest crossing between Canada and the US. Auto manufacturing anchors the city's economy, keeping trucks hauling parts and finished vehicles across the border and along the 401. The Ambassador Bridge position ties Windsor to the border freight moving between Canada and the US, and the 401 terminus connects it to the main Ontario corridor. That combination of a border crossing and an auto manufacturing base is what shapes the local fuel market.
